Chemical Engineer vacancy in Lusail QatarChemical Engineer - Process Development SpecialistWe are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chemical Engineer to join our team in Lusail, Qatar. As a Process Development Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and optimizing chemical processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs and ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct research and experiments to develop new chemical processes or improve existing onesAnalyze data and results to identify areas for improvement and provide recommendationsDesign process equipment and systems, including selecting appropriate materials and ensuring compatibility with chemicalsCollaborate with other engineers, scientists, and technicians to conduct trials, tests, and scale-up processesMonitor production processes to identify potential issues and troubleshoot problemsDevelop standard operating procedures (SOPs) for new processes or modifications to existing onesEnsure compliance with safety standards and environmental regulations in all process development activitiesQualificationsBachelors degree in Chemical Engineering or related fieldMinimum of 3 years of experience in process development in the chemical industryStrong knowledge of chemical engineering principles, including thermodynamics, kinetics, fluid mechanics, heat transfer, mass transferFamiliarity with process simulation software such as Aspen Plus or ChemCADExperience with design of experiments (DOE) methodologyExcellent analytical skills and ability to interpret dataStrong problem-solving skillsGood communication skills with the ability to effectively present technical informationPersonal AttributesAs a Process Development Specialist, you will need to have a curious mindset with a passion for continuous improvement.
