Commis I Cold Kitchen

As Commis 1 the care you devote to all aspects of food preparation will result in the creation of truly spectacular fare.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare cold dishes such as salads dressings appetizers cold starters and buffet items according to standard recipes.Assist in daily mise-en-place to ensure smooth kitchen operations.Ensure consistency in taste quality and presentation of all cold kitchen items.Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cold kitchen section in compliance with HACCP standards.Store food items correctly ensuring proper labeling dating and rotation (FIFO).Monitor food quality and freshness reporting any issues to the Chef de Partie.Assist with buffet setup replenishment and breakdown as required.Support Commis and Demi Chefs within the section when needed.Follow all health safety and food hygiene regulations.QualificationsDiploma or certificate in Culinary Arts or equivalent.Minimum 12 years of experience in a cold kitchen or garde manger section.Knowledge of cold food preparation plating and basic carving techniques.Strong attention to detail and presentation standards.Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.Good teamwork and communication skills.Flexibility to work shifts weekends and public holidays.Physical RequirementsAbility to stand for extended periods.Comfortable working in cold storage and busy kitchen environments.Additional InformationOur commitment to Diversity & Inclusion: We are an inclusive company and our ambition is to attract recruit and promote diverse talent.Diversity & Inclusion for Accor means welcoming each and everyone and respecting their differences by giving priority only to qualities and skills in extending employment and development opportunities.
