Job Description
Role OverviewWe are seeking a highly detail-oriented Contracts Administrator to work full-time as part of the ElevateX Consulting team.The role involves reviewing construction contracts, extracting key obligations, supporting contract-administration workflows, and ensuring accuracy within the platform.This is not a general admin role.It suits someone with strong contract administration capability, comfort working with complex documents, and an ability to follow structured legal and construction processes precisely.Key ResponsibilitiesContract Review & Data ExtractionReview construction contracts, subcontracts, scopes of work, and special conditionsIdentify and extract key contractual obligations, including:Notice requirementsTime barsVariations and EOT provisionsPayment claim and certification processesSecurity, retention, and release conditionsEnter and validate contract data accurately within the platformContract Administration SupportAssist with contract-administration workflows (notices, compliance checklists, deadlines)Support preparation of structured compliance outputs based on contract termsTrack critical dates and contractual triggersQuality Control & AccuracyPerform quality checks on contract data and compliance outputsEnsure consistency across contract reviews and platform entriesFlag ambiguities, inconsistencies, or missing information for escalationPlatform & Process SupportFollow standard operating procedures and templatesAssist with refinement of internal checklists and workflowsWork closely with the legal-tech and operations teamSkillsRequired Skills & ExperienceEssentialStrong contract administration skillsExceptional attention to detail (critical — errors have legal and commercial consequences)Ability to read, interpret, and summarise contractual clauses accuratelyComfortable working with long, technical documentsStrong written English (clear, structured, professional)Ability to follow defined processes and checklists consistentlyPreferredConstruction industry experience (subcontractor, builder, consultant, or contract admin role)Familiarity with construction contracts (e.g. variations, EOTs, progress claims)Legal or paralegal backgroundExperience working with compliance systems, contract management systems, or legal-tech toolsPersonal AttributesHighly organised and methodicalProcess-driven and disciplinedComfortable working independently with accountability for accuracyWilling to learn construction-specific concepts and terminologyNot afraid to ask questions or flag uncertaintyTools & SystemsCloud-based contract compliance platformDocument management systemsMicrosoft Word / Google DocsSpreadsheet tools for tracking and validationPerformance ExpectationsHigh accuracy rate in contract data extractionConsistent adherence to processes and standardsAbility to manage multiple contracts concurrentlyContinuous improvement mindset#J-18808-Ljbffr
