Job Description

We are seeking a talented Sous Chef with strong expertise in Iranian/Persian and American cuisine to support the Head Chef in delivering exceptional culinary experiences.You will play a key part in maintaining the highest kitchen standards, leading daily kitchen operations, and ensuring that every dish reflects the authenticity, flavor, and refinement of both Persian and American culinary traditions. Profiles centered on other culinary traditions (e.g., Italian, French, East Asian) will not be considered.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport the Head Chef in overseeing daily kitchen operationsLead and supervise kitchen staff during serviceMaintain strict adherence to SOPs and recipe standardsEnsure consistency in flavor, presentation, and portion controlCulinary ExecutionPrepare and oversee authentic Iranian dishes, grills, and rice specialtiesExecute elevated American dishes including steaks, BBQ, and contemporary platesEnsure proper Tahdig formation and Persian rice techniquesMaintain consistency in marinades, spices, sauces, and rubs across both cuisinesUphold fine dining plating and presentation standardsMenu DevelopmentContribute to seasonal menu development across Persian and American offeringsSupport testing and refinement of new dishes in both culinary traditionsParticipate in tasting sessions and culinary innovationOperations & ComplianceManage stock levels and kitchen inventoryMonitor food cost and reduce wasteEnsure compliance with HACCP and food safety regulationsQualifications3–6+ years of professional kitchen experienceMinimum 2 years in a Sous Chef or Senior Chef roleStrong experience or specialization in Iranian/Persian and American cuisineExperience in fine dining or upscale hospitality environmentsStrong leadership and team management skillsKnowledge of food cost control and kitchen operations#J-18808-Ljbffr
