This role is integral to delivering exceptional dining experiences that meet both InterContinental brand standards and Forbes luxury standard, ensuring every guest interaction is personalized, polished, and memorable.Located in the heart of Dubai’s Business Bay, moments from iconic landmarks such as Dubai Mall and Burj Khalifa, InterContinental Residences Dubai Business Bay features 176 elegantly designed residences, offering refined luxury, comfort, and sophistication. As an F&B Service Assistant, your professionalism, attention to detail, and emotional intelligence will directly enhance guest satisfaction and uphold our reputation for excellence.Your Day-to-DayEvery day is different, but you’ll mostly be:Deliver intuitive, anticipatory, and personalized service in line with Forbes standards.Greet guests warmly using their name whenever possible and maintain eye contact and positive body languageAnticipate guest needs and proactively resolve concerns with empathy and discretionEnsure each guest feels genuinely cared for and recognizedFood & Beverage OperationsSupport daily restaurant, bar, and in-room dining operations with precision and professionalismServe food and beverages following Forbes and InterContinental sequence of serviceMaintain immaculate table presentation, tray handling, and service timingAssist with upselling and menu recommendations in a refined and non-intrusive mannerFollow all food safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards consistentlyEnsure food handling, storage, and service meet luxury hospitality complianceMaintain spotless service areas in line with Forbes cleanliness and presentation standardsReport maintenance, hygiene, or safety issues immediatelyLuxury Standards & Brand ComplianceUphold grooming, posture, and etiquette standards aligned with Forbes luxury benchmarksUse refined language, tone, and professional behavior at all timesProtect guest privacy and confidentiality in all situationsWork seamlessly with kitchen, bar, and service colleagues to ensure flawless executionCommunicate guest preferences, allergies, and special requests clearlySupport team members during peak periods and VIP servicesOperational ExcellenceHandle service equipment, glassware, silverware, and linen with care and precisionAssist in inventory control, stock rotation, and requisitions as requiredAdhere to SOPs, grooming standards, and service ritualsWhat We Need from You EducationHigh school diploma or equivalent preferredCertification in Food Safety, HACCP, or Hospitality is an advantageQualifications & ExperiencePrevious experience in luxury hotel or fine dining service preferredKnowledge of Forbes Travel Guide standards or luxury service culture is an advantageFamiliarity with international hotel brands is desirablePersonal AttributesNaturally warm, polished, and service-driven personalityStrong communication and emotional intelligenceHigh attention to detail and pride in personal presentationAbility to remain calm and composed under pressureFlexible to work shifts, weekends, and public holidaysWhat You Can Expect from UsWe give our people everything they need to succeed — from a competitive salary that rewards all your hard work to a wide range of benefits designed to help you live your best work life.
