Factory Manager

To lead and manage the end-to-end operations of the production facility, ensuring timely, cost-effective, and high-quality fabrication of exhibition stands, event structures, and bespoke fit-outs. The Factory Manager is responsible for strategic planning, team leadership, operational efficiency, health and safety, and continuous improvement across all factory functions.Key ResponsibilitiesFactory Operations & ProductionDepartment Oversight: Oversee all factory departments: carpentry, metalwork, painting, CNC, finishing, and logistics.Production Scheduling: Develop and maintain production schedules in alignment with project timelines and resource availability.Resource Management: Monitor and optimize factory capacity, manpower planning, and equipment utilization.Cross-Team Alignment: Drive collaboration between Design, Project Management, Procurement, and Site Teams for seamless project delivery.Quality, Safety & Continuous ImprovementQuality Control: Ensure fabrication and fit-out meet company quality standards and client requirements.Compliance: Uphold health, safety, and environmental compliance across all operations.Workflow Optimization: Continuously review and enhance workflows to improve efficiency and competitiveness.Troubleshooting: Lead production meetings, addressing operational challenges and implementing solutions.Budget Management: Manage and control factory budgets, reduce wastage, and drive cost efficiencies.Data & Analytics: Maintain accurate production tracking, reporting, and performance analytics.People Development: Coach and develop supervisors and skilled workers to foster a high-performance culture.Skills / QualificationsEducation & ExperienceBachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Engineering, Industrial Management, or related technical field.8–10 years’ experience in production/factory environments, with 3+ years in a managerial role in exhibitions, events, or interior fit-out.Strong understanding of materials, production workflows, and finishing techniques for event and exhibition fabrication.Proficient in CAD drawing interpretation and technical specifications.Experienced in ERP/production management systems and MS Office Suite.Leadership & Core SkillsExcellent leadership, planning, and problem-solving abilities.Sound knowledge of workplace safety regulations and compliance.#J-18808-Ljbffr
