Job Description

The Finance Business Partner (FBP) will act as a strategic advisor to Sports Division, a subsidiary of Modon Holding- P.S.C, ensuring robust financial planning, insightful performance analysis, and alignment with corporate governance standards. This role will bridge strategic finance, operational execution, and governance, supporting both the Director of Finance and the Executive Director , Sports in delivering on the approved business plan and budgetsThe FBP will lead the budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and monthly management performance reporting processes, providing actionable insights to drive business growth and financial sustainability. The role will also coordinate closely with Modon Communities’ Finance Shared Service for transactional efficiency and ensure Sport Division’s finance policies and procedures are aligned with Modon Holding’s governance frameworkRoles, Responsibilities, Duties:Strategic Finance & PlanningLead the preparation of Sports Divsion’s annual budget, review and verify quarterly forecasts and drawdowns, and rolling cash flow projections in line with corporate timelines and strategic priorities.Provide financial modelling and scenario analysis to support business decisions and strategic initiatives.Monitor performance against the approved business plan and identify opportunities for optimization.Performance Reporting & InsightsPrepare and present monthly management performance reports, highlighting key business drivers, variances, and recommendations for improvement.Deliver clear, actionable insights to the Executive Director - Sports and Director of Finance - to support informed decision-making.Track key financial and operational KPIs to measure business success against targets.Cash Flow & Working Capital ManagementMonitor liquidity requirements, ensuring optimal use of funds and timely escalation of cash flow risks.Work with the Modon Communities Finance to ensure accurate and timely vendor payments and collections in line with agreed terms.Support funding requirement analysis and coordinate with Modon Holding on capital injection requests when required.Governance & ComplianceEnsure entity’s finance policies and procedures are aligned with Modon Holding and Modon Communities governance frameworks.Support the implementation of robust internal controls in line with ICFR and COSO standards.Ensure compliance with IFRS, UAE tax regulations, and internal audit recommendations.Business Partnering & Strategic SupportAct as a trusted finance advisor to the General Manager – Sports Division on strategic projects, partnership evaluations, and investment decisions.Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure financial considerations are integrated into all key business decisions.Support negotiations with third parties (vendors, partners, tenants) from a financial perspective.Occupational and workplace Health and Safety responsibilities:In addition to all job specific responsibilities, all employees are required to adhere to all Modonhealth, safety and environmental (HSE) policies, procedures, practices, and relevant legal and statutory health, safety and environmental requirements and obligations. All employees are personally responsible to familiarize themselves with these policies, procedures, practices, updates, etc. Modon HSE department regularly updates existing and introduce new policies, procedures and practices and each employee is personally responsible to ensure they stay updated and compliant with all such updates and new additions.Information Security responsibilities:Comply with Modon Information Security PoliciesBe aware of and fulfil their information security responsibilitiesEnsure whoever handles sensitive company information have taken the Security Awareness TrainingKnow how to report a security incident (to IT ServiceDesk).Not to disable his/her OS firewall and/or AntivirusRestrict use to authorized purposes, Protect access accounts, privileges and associated passwords.Accept accountability of his/her individual user accounts, and maintain confidentialityQualification:Bachelor’s degree in financeProfessional certification in Accounting or Finance (CPA, ACCA, CMA, CFA preferred).Experience:Minimum 8 years’ experience in finance, with at least 3 years in a business partnering or FP&A leadership role.Proven track record in budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and governance implementationSkills and Competencies:Strong financial modelling and analytical skills.Excellent business acumen with the ability to translate financial data into strategic insights.Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools (e.g., Oracle, SAP, or Dynamics 365).Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.Ability to operate in a fast-paced, evolving business environment.#J-18808-Ljbffr
