Job Description

Job ObjectiveTo lead and manage the company’s financial and accounting operations, ensuring financial stability and supporting senior management’s strategic decisions. This is achieved through effective financial planning, accurate financial reporting, cash flow management, and enhancing the efficiency of financial resource utilization to contribute to the company’s growth and financial sustainability.Educational QualificationsA Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in one of the following specializations:AccountingProfessional CertificationsOne or more of the following professional certifications is required:CMA – Certified Management AccountantCBA – Certified Business AccountantCPA – Certified Public AccountantACCA – Association of Chartered Certified AccountantsCFA – Chartered Financial AnalystExperienceMinimum of 10 years of experience in the financial and accounting field.Proven experience in managing finance departments and supervising teams.Expertise in preparing financial statements, financial planning, and budget management.Duties and ResponsibilitiesFirst: Strategic and Financial PlanningPrepare financial plans and strategies in alignment with the company’s goals.Develop financial policies and procedures to ensure the efficiency of financial operations.Provide financial analysis to senior management to support decision-making.Conduct financial studies for projects and investments.Oversee the preparation of periodic and annual financial statements.Analyze financial results and submit analytical reports to senior management.Ensure the accuracy of financial data and compliance with approved accounting standards.Prepare necessary financial reports to support planning and decision-making.Third: Budget ManagementPrepare annual budgets in coordination with various departments.Monitor financial performance and compare it against the approved budget.Analyze financial variances and provide corrective recommendations.Work on improving financial efficiency and increasing profitability.Fourth: Cash Flow ManagementOversee the management of the company’s cash flow and financial liquidity.Ensure sufficient liquidity to cover operational and investment obligations.Fifth: Risk Management and Financial ControlIdentify and analyze financial risks and develop plans to mitigate their impact.Develop internal control systems to protect the company’s assets.Ensure compliance with applicable financial laws and regulations.Monitor financial obligations and ensure timely payments.Sixth: Leadership and SupervisionLead the finance and accounting team and develop their professional skills.Monitor performance and ensure the implementation of approved financial policies and procedures.Promote a culture of compliance and professionalism within the finance department.Seventh: Coordination and CommunicationCoordinate with different departments to provide the necessary financial support.Communicate with external auditors and regulatory authorities.Prepare and present periodic financial reports to senior management.Required SkillsAdvanced financial analysis skills.High capability in strategic financial planning.Experience with ERP systems and accounting software.Strong leadership and managerial skills.Excellent communication and negotiation skills.Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.#J-18808-Ljbffr
