Job Description

Position: Financial Data Investment Operations Advanced Excel Specialist - Banking or Insurance Sector (Abu Dhabi)We have an urgent requirement for an advanced Excel specialist with expertise in financial data cleansing, reconciliation, and investment reporting (NAV, TWRR, dividends, fixed income, and asset allocation). The role is for a client in Abu Dhabi.Mandatory RequirementsAdvanced Excel specialist with expertise in financial data cleansing, reconciliation, and investment reporting ensuring 100% accuracy and structured reporting.Strong experience with Advanced Excel (Pivot Tables, Lookups, INDEX‑MATCH, Macros).Strong experience in Financial Data Cleansing & Reconciliation – Ability to handle, standardize, reconcile, and validate financial data.Strong experience in Investment & Accounting Knowledge (NAV, TWRR, dividends, asset allocation).Domain experience in banking or insurance sector.Scope of Work & Key DeliverablesFinancial Data Cleaning & StructuringClean, standardize, and enter financial data from multiple sources (statements, invoices, receipts, investment platforms).Review and clean 1,000+ reports within shared folders.Remove outdated or irrelevant content and reorganize folder structures.Ensure consistent formatting, naming conventions, and tagging standards.Maintain a clean and well‑structured digital filing system with proper archiving controls.Investment & Financial Reporting SupportUpdate market values across investment trackers.Record dividends, coupon payments, and interest income accurately.Maintain and reconcile asset allocation files.Support maintenance and improvement of TWRR calculation files.Excel & Process EnhancementUpdate and maintain financial trackers, dashboards, and templates.Perform advanced Excel functions including:Pivot TablesVLOOKUP / XLOOKUPINDEX‑MATCHData ValidationConditional FormattingBasic Macros (automation support)Improve existing spreadsheets to reduce manual errors and enhance usability.Introduce logical checks and controls to ensure data integrity.KPIs & Performance ExpectationsZero‑error output with high data accuracy standards.Timely completion of assigned deliverables within agreed deadlines.Proactive issue identification and escalation.Clear and professional communication with stakeholders.Continuous improvement mindset in file management and reporting processes.Experience2–3 years of experience in Finance, Accounting, Investment Operations, or related support roles.Technical Skills (Mandatory)Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, Lookups, INDEX‑MATCH, formulas).Strong understanding of financial data handling and reconciliation.Basic accounting knowledge (journal entries, accruals, reconciliations).Familiarity with investment concepts (NAV, TWRR, dividends, fixed income, asset allocation).Experience managing large volumes of structured and unstructured data.Skills: investment, financial data, excel.#J-18808-Ljbffr
