General Practitioner (Experience in Emergency)

ResponsibilitiesMonitors and provides care of patients presenting to Urgent Care.Monitors and provides care of patients admitted in wards.Admit patients requiring special care, investigations and treatment under the specialist.Examine and talk to patients to diagnose their medical conditions.Make notes, both as a record of treatment and for referral.Liaise with other medical and non‑medical staff in the hospital to ensure quality treatment.Work with other doctors as part of a team.Promote health education among patients.Organise preventive medical programmes.Maintain knowledge of applicable local regulations and requirements.Develop and maintain professional quality standards and recommend improvements to meet those of the JCI.Monitor the quality of medical care provided to patients hospitalised.Work is performed independently, under the general direction of the Urgent Care physician.Monitor clinical and other established indicators to ensure ongoing quality assurance.Strictly observe the organisation’s medical regulations and policies, especially those related to infection control, patient safety, assessment and care.Perform other miscellaneous duties as requested by the head of Urgent Care.Initiate the IPNS form for any eligible patient with injury and poisoning.Ensure all details are captured in the IPNS data form for further submission to the DOH.QualificationsGraduate from an accredited school of Medicine with an MBBS degree.Minimum of two years’ experience practising as a general practitioner post‑certification.Current licensure in the country of origin and a DOH licence to practice in Abu Dhabi, UAE.Thorough knowledge of medical ethics, particularly the obligation to maintain confidentiality of work, and adherence to the Bylaws, Rules and Regulations of the Medical Organisation.SkillsExcellent command of oral and written English; knowledge of Arabic is desirable but not essential.Strong communication and interpersonal skills for interaction with co‑workers, superiors, patients and families.#J-18808-Ljbffr
