Job Description
OverviewWe are seeking to hire a "Group Account Director" responsible for managing all Account teams along with the relationships between the company and its clients, and for overseeing all aspects of this relationship, from initial client contact to ongoing communication and service delivery.Group Account Director Duties and ResponsibilitiesManage all aspects of the client business providing superior customer service while maximizing business opportunitiesResponsible for directing the Account teams in meeting business KPIs and development of business plansLead and manage all strategic channel planning activities associated with assigned accountsDemonstrate leadership, strategic direction, accountability, business acumen and vision for their portfolio of businessesLeverages experience, knowledge, and skills to drive innovative thinking and set challenging team goals and objectives by balancing client, company, and team needs.Steward relationship with outside agency partners (creative, PR, promotion, etc.)Work with analytic partners to gauge media performance and KPIs to determine the extent to which the original objectives and strategies were metManage multi-disciplinary team ensuring all team members are delegated work appropriate for their level and experience and that the team remains challenged and engagedActively incorporate tools into client planning process/lead workshops in Facilitator roleUnderstand client compensation structure and implications of plan changesActs as a positive role model through exampleProactively keep abreast of industry trends and share knowledge with teamMentor the team to maximize individuals growth, and harness the strengths and opportunities of each team memberWork closely with their direct report to optimize any revenue opportunities within the agency at largeGroup Account Director Skills and Requirements10-15 years of experience in Account Management with 1-2 years as an Account Director in a reputed agencyAutomotive SectorGraduate in any field, a degree in the advertising/communications field will be preferredKnowledge of the advertising industry, creative and production aspectsStrong influencing style and executive presence; articulate and confidentStrong leadership skills and the ability to work as part of a teamPersuasive ability and assertiveness while dealing with tricky issuesStrong interpersonal, presentation and communication skillsAbility to analyses and interpret informationAbility to train and motivate team members and foster a cooperative work environment#J-18808-Ljbffr
