The ideal candidate will have a strong background in heritage conservation and preservation, with a deep understanding of the UAE's cultural heritage and its significance.Key ResponsibilitiesConducting research and analysis to identify historic buildings, structures, and sites in need of preservationDeveloping and implementing preservation plans and strategies for identified sitesCollaborating with architects, engineers, and other specialists to ensure preservation plans are feasible and effectiveConducting site visits and assessments to evaluate the condition of historic structures and recommend necessary repairs and restoration workPreparing detailed reports and proposals outlining preservation plans and recommendationsLiaising with government agencies, community groups, and other stakeholders to gain support and funding for preservation projectsOverseeing preservation projects and ensuring that work is carried out according to established guidelines and standardsProviding guidance and support to clients and contractors on best practices for preserving historic structuresStaying up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in historic preservation to continually improve our servicesQualificationsBachelor's degree in Historic Preservation, Architecture, or a related fieldMinimum of 3 years of experience in historic preservation and conservationStrong knowledge of UAE's cultural heritage and preservation laws and regulationsExcellent research and analytical skillsExperience in developing and implementing preservation plans and strategiesAbility to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneouslyExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsProficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant softwareFluency in English, both written and verbalValid driver's license and ability to travel to different project sites as needed#J-18808-Ljbffr
