The ideal candidate will have a strong background in heritage conservation and preservation, with a deep understanding of the UAE's cultural heritage and its significance.</p><h3>Key Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Conducting research and analysis to identify historic buildings, structures, and sites in need of preservation</li><li>Developing and implementing preservation plans and strategies for identified sites</li><li>Collaborating with architects, engineers, and other specialists to ensure preservation plans are feasible and effective</li><li>Conducting site visits and assessments to evaluate the condition of historic structures and recommend necessary repairs and restoration work</li><li>Preparing detailed reports and proposals outlining preservation plans and recommendations</li><li>Liaising with government agencies, community groups, and other stakeholders to gain support and funding for preservation projects</li><li>Overseeing preservation projects and ensuring that work is carried out according to established guidelines and standards</li><li>Providing guidance and support to clients and contractors on best practices for preserving historic structures</li><li>Staying up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in historic preservation to continually improve our services</li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><ul><li>Bachelor's degree in Historic Preservation, Architecture, or a related field</li><li>Minimum of 3 years of experience in historic preservation and conservation</li><li>Strong knowledge of UAE's cultural heritage and preservation laws and regulations</li><li>Excellent research and analytical skills</li><li>Experience in developing and implementing preservation plans and strategies</li><li>Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously</li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills</li><li>Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant software</li><li>Fluency in English, both written and verbal</li><li>Valid driver's license and ability to travel to different project sites as needed</li></ul></div>#J-18808-Ljbffr
