Inventory Controller

Our client is a leading restaurant group in Dubai.Responsibilities:Oversee inventory and supply chain management according to company guidelinesPerform critical inventory tasks to ensure the correct amount of items are in stockMaintain updated and accurate records of inventory, including transfers and cycle countsReview documentation and monitor product codes to search for discrepancies; troubleshoot quantity discrepancies between stock and recordsDevelop and implement improvements to existing operational procedures in order to maximize efficiency and cut operations costsRespond to sales inquiries and purchase orders; collect and analyze data to determine appropriate order quantities; process orders for shipmentReview operations schedules and production requirements to ensure timely order fulfillmentTrack rates of accuracy, purchase and return as well as defective items to inform quality control decisionsPrepare, generate, and file financial inventory reports; review reports monthly with managementNurture positive relationships with suppliers and provide customer service as neededWhat we are looking for?Diploma or Bachelors degree in relevant fieldMinimum of 1-2yrs year of related experience in warehousing, or logistics within the food and beverage sector in the UAEProficient with computers and other standard office technologyFamiliarity with Oracle NetSuiteSuperior organizational and communication skills#J-18808-Ljbffr
