Junior Bioinformatics Research Associate Animal and Poultry

Job Description:Provides computational support to animal and poultry genomics projects, focusing on data processing, GWAS pipelines, and basic downstream analyses.Minimum Qualifications:Ph.D/MSc in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, or related field.Working knowledge of Python or R.Familiarity with genomics tools is preferred.Experience/Skills:Perform sequencing QC, alignment, and variant calling.Assist with GWAS and genotype–phenotype association workflows.Generate summary statistics, plots, and basic visualizations.Maintain scripts and documentation.Support Research Associates with data interpretation.Preferred Qualifications:Ph.D/MSc in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, or related field.Working knowledge of Python or R.Familiarity with genomics tools is preferred.#J-18808-Ljbffr
