Legal Counsel, Funds and Investment Management

We are working closely with a boutique DIFC based fund and investment manager. They are seeking their first Legal Counsel to be based in Dubai.So why this role?Expanding – the company is moving forward rapidly across the region.Career growth - you’ll be working closely with the Head of Legal as the only other lawyer.Unique – funds and investment roles are hard to find and come up very rarely.What you’ll be doing:The work will be a mix of reviewing funds and investment specific documentation and the day to day dealings of an in-house lawyer.For example, you might be expected to handle company secretarial matters, board documents, regulatory filings, and general commercial internal team matters, and outside client support.Who you’ll likely need to be, in order to succeed:Whilst there is a degree of flexibility, there are some core guidelines that make the backbone of the client expectations:Common law qualification (essential due to the nature of the documents and the work).4-8 years of experience in either funds, finance or general corporate work.Trained and qualified with an international standard law firm, or been working in‑house at a recognised corporate.Middle East / DIFC experience is helpful but not essential, overseas applications will be considered.Job number JN -022026-290667Please note that the job advertised here represents just a selection of all the in‑house roles we have running across the Middle East, Turkey and Africa region from our hub office in Dubai.To have a full overview of all the international roles available right now, please visit our constantly updated website www.taylorroot.com#J-18808-Ljbffr
