Job Description

Industry: Food & Beverage (F&B)Job PurposeThe Management Accountant is responsible for providing accurate financial analysis, cost control, and performance reporting to support operational and strategic decision-making. The role focuses on cost optimization, profitability analysis, budgeting, and financial planning within a fast-paced F&B environment.Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Reporting & AnalysisPrepare monthly management accounts, including P&L, balance sheet, and variance analysisAnalyze food, beverage, and operating costs against budgets and standardsProvide actionable insights on margins, wastage, yield, and cost variancesCost Control & Inventory ManagementMonitor and analyze food and beverage costs, recipe costing, and portion controlReview inventory levels, stock movements, shrinkage, and wastageSupport physical stock counts and reconcile variancesBudgeting & ForecastingPrepare annual budgets and rolling forecasts in collaboration with operations teamsTrack actual performance versus budget and provide corrective recommendationsBusiness & Operational SupportPartner with operations, procurement, and production teams to improve cost efficiencySupport pricing decisions, promotions, and new product costingsEvaluate supplier pricing, contracts, and cost-saving initiativesInternal Controls & ComplianceEnsure adherence to financial policies, procedures, and internal controlsSupport audit processes and ensure accurate documentationEnsure compliance with local tax, VAT, and regulatory requirementsSystems & Process ImprovementImprove financial processes, reporting tools, and cost tracking systemsSupport ERP, POS, and inventory system integration and reportingKey RequirementsEducation & ExperienceBachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field3–6 years of management accounting experience, preferably in F&B, hospitality, or manufacturingExperience with cost accounting and inventory-driven businessesSkills & CompetenciesStrong analytical and financial modeling skillsSolid understanding of food costing, margin analysis, and inventory controlsHigh attention to detail with strong business acumenAbility to work cross-functionally with non-finance teams#J-18808-Ljbffr
