If you're motivated by large-scale challenges and lasting legacy, there's a place for you at Qiddiya.ResponsibilitiesAssist in preparation of business cases for new items of workCollaborate with project stakeholders to develop and implement procurement strategiesDevelop and manage tender documentation, including pricing schedules and contract termsAssist in the review of financial proposal tender returnsConduct thorough cost analyses and feasibility studies to support project decision-makingEvaluate contractor bids and provide recommendations for contract awardsNegotiate contract terms and conditions to optimize project outcomesEnsure that letters of award and regret letters are issued to biddersConduct contract handover meetings with the client\'s procurement team and produce minutes of the meetingEnsure performance bonds and advance payment bonds are received and in place for awarded contract and maintain a database for sameIssue notices to proceed in accordance with the contractReview and approve subcontractors or subconsultants in line with contractual requirementsMonitor and report on project costs, budgets, and financial forecasts throughout the project lifecycleManage contractual relationships with contractors and suppliers, ensuring compliance with contractIdentify and assess risks associated with project execution and recommend mitigation strategiesHandle variations, claims, and disputes in collaboration with project teamsProvide regular updates to senior management on commercial performance and key issuesEnsure timely processing of interim payment applications (IPA) and interim payment certificates (IPC)Issue notices for delays and deduct penalties as per contract termsPerform contract closeout tasks and update the contracts register upon final dischargeEnsure retention monies are released, and bonds or securities are returned in accordance with the contractLiaise with QIC internal teams, including procurement, legal and finance, to ensure alignment to commercial objectivesFoster positive relationships with external stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and regulatory bodiesDevelop and maintain weekly action plans for live tasksRegular commercial meetings with contractors/consultants to ensure proactive management of commercial actionsMonthly cash flow reporting and updates to the contracts register for inclusion in the monthly reportEnsure timely correspondence management - ensure responses are issued in line with contractual deadlinesOversee workload and commitments of Assistant Commercial Manager, and support their professional developmentRequirementsMinimum of 8 years of proven experience in commercial managementStrong understanding of construction contracts, commercial law, and risk management principlesBachelors Degree in Quantity Surveying or EquivalentExcellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skillsProficient in financial management and cost control, with good analytical and problem-solving abilitiesAbility to work independently and as part of a teamApplications closing on 3rd March 2026#J-18808-Ljbffr
