Because whenever you join however long you stay the exceptional EY experience lasts a lifetime.</p><h3>The opportunity</h3><p>This opportunity is within our<b>Data&AI team</b>focusing on<b>AI Engineering and Generative AI (GenAI)</b>solutions.</p><p>As an AI Engineering Manager you will lead multidisciplinary teams to deliver innovative scalable AI solutions that support our clients financial and operational decision‑making. You will oversee the development and deployment of intelligent systems using modern AI tools including<b>large language models (LLMs) GenAI platforms</b>and cloud‑native services. Your leadership will ensure that AI‑driven solutions are designed responsibly and generate measurable value for our clients.</p><p>This role will be based in<b>Riyadh Kingdom of Saudi Arabia</b>with remote support for MENA client engagements. Travel may be required based on project needs.</p><p>You will also play a key role in growing our AI offerings mentoring junior professionals and shaping strategic AI transformation initiatives.</p><h3>Your key responsibilities</h3><p>As a manager you will be expected to lead the design, development and deployment of<b>AI and GenAI solutions</b>across diverse industries while managing project teams delivering AI use cases ensuring solutions meet business requirements, are production‑ready and comply with governance standards. You will work with stakeholders to identify and prioritize high‑impact opportunities for AI implementation. Also you will collaborate with data engineers, architects and business consultants to integrate AI models into broader enterprise ecosystems.</p><p>Moreover you will be responsible to guide the adoption of<b>LLM and GenAI technologies</b>(e.g. ChatGPT, Claude, Azure OpenAI, HuggingFace) driving innovation in areas such as financial document analysis, reporting automation and virtual assistants and ensure AI solutions are scalable, ethical, explainable and aligned with clients compliance needs.</p><p>You shall provide support proposal development and business development initiatives across MENA and stay current with evolving AI trends, frameworks and tools helping shape EY’s AI capabilities and offerings.</p><h3>Skills and attributes for success</h3><ul><li>Proven ability to lead technical teams and deliver complex AI‑enabled projects</li><li>Excellent communication skills and ability to work across business and technical domains</li><li>Entrepreneurial mindset and willingness to drive innovation in ambiguous environments</li><li>Passion for emerging technologies experimentation and continuous learning</li><li>Strong organizational and project management skills</li></ul><h3>To qualify for the role you should have</h3><ul><li>A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science or related)</li><li>Solid hands‑on managerial experience in building and deploying<b>AI/ML solutions</b>using Python and frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit‑learn</li><li>Familiarity with<b>GenAI tools</b>such as OpenAI, LangChain, HuggingFace Transformers or enterprise GenAI platforms (e.g. Azure OpenAI, Google Vertex AI, AWS Bedrock)</li><li>Practical experience integrating<b>LLMs and GenAI</b>into workflows such as document summarization, search, code generation or chatbots</li><li>Proficiency in cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) for deploying ML solutions</li><li>Experience managing the full AI lifecycle: data prep, model training, validation, MLOps and post‑deployment monitoring</li><li>A strong understanding of ethical AI, data privacy and responsible AI practices</li><li>Flexibility and willingness to travel as required</li></ul><h3>Ideally you’ll also have</h3><ul><li>Consulting experience with a top‑tier firm</li><li>Domain knowledge in sectors such as Government, Healthcare, Financial Services, Telecom or Retail</li><li>Experience with data architecture patterns including data mesh, data fabric or hybrid data strategies</li><li>Proficiency in Arabic is a plus</li></ul><h3>What we look for</h3><p>We are looking for forward‑thinking leaders who are passionate about using<b>AI and GenAI</b>to transform the way businesses operate.
