Responsible for ensuring use in salesContribution to Practice / WiproContinually delivers all Wipro admin in a timely manner (timesheets, appraisals, expenses, etc.), demonstrates contribution to internal initiativesEnsures the team leverages IP and knowledge assets from the central knowledge repository of Wipro and GCG and promotes reuseProposes new service offerings/capabilitiesContribution towards go‑to‑market solutions to deliver tangible business outcomes or breakthrough in industry segmentCoaches and mentors junior consultantsMonitors and curtails talent attritionDrives engagement with other consulting and delivery teams to both enhance collaboration and help design and deliver tailored client solutions with desired impactDemonstrates value by identifying and following through on innovation and thought leadership opportunitiesCreates reusable IP/assets and makes self visible as a thought leaderRole PurposeThe EnergyIP Functional Consultant is responsible for implementing, configuring, and supporting Siemens EnergyIP solutions within utility environments.Key ResponsibilitiesRequirements Gathering & AnalysisWork closely with business stakeholders to understand functional and technical requirements for MDM and related systems.Document business processes and map them to EnergyIP functionalities.Solution Design & ConfigurationConfigure EnergyIP modules (such as MDM, Event Management, Validation, Estimation & Editing (VEE), and Reporting).Design workflows, validation rules, and data processing logic within EnergyIP.Support integration with external systems such as CIS, OMS, SCADA, and AMI head‑end systems.Implementation & TestingParticipate in solution design workshops and functional walkthroughs.Develop and execute functional test cases, perform system integration testing (SIT), and support user acceptance testing (UAT).Troubleshoot and resolve functional issues during implementation and post go‑live phases.Support & MaintenanceProvide ongoing functional support for EnergyIP applications.Analyze and resolve production issues, perform root cause analysis, and recommend improvements.Collaborate with technical teams for patch upgrades, performance tuning, and enhancements.Documentation & TrainingPrepare functional design documents, configuration guides, and user manuals.Conduct training sessions and knowledge transfer to end‑users and support teams.Required Skills & QualificationsEducation: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, or related field.Experience:8–10 years of experience in utility domain projects, preferably
