The selected candidate will collaborate closely with our India‑based technical members and work within the team’s established workflows, time zones, and project structure.</p><h3>Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Develop and enhance existing Android applications, including legacy versions that run on Android 5 to Android 8, by adding new features, improving modules, and refining user workflows.</li><li>Integrate third‑party SDKs into the application, including authentication, analytics, cloud services, payments, and robotics control modules.</li><li>Implement and manage REST APIs, ensuring smooth data communication, error handling, and secure integration with backend services.</li><li>Write structured technical documentation, including API usage notes, integration steps, feature descriptions, and developer handover guides.</li><li>Perform app optimization, including performance tuning for older Android devices (Android 5–8), refactoring legacy code, improving load times, and ensuring stability across versions.</li><li>Troubleshoot production issues, analyze crash reports, debug code, and work closely with QA to deliver stable app updates.</li><li>Collaborate with UI/UX designers, backend developers, and product teams to translate feature requirements into production‑ready code and maintain coding standards.</li></ul><h3>Requirements</h3><ul><li>Experience with Android development using Kotlin/Java.</li><li>Proven experience working on applications running on Android 5 to 8, including backward compatibility.</li><li>Hands‑on experience integrating third‑party SDKs and implementing REST APIs.</li><li>Familiarity with Android Jetpack, MVVM, LiveData, Room, Retrofit, etc.</li><li>Experience with legacy codebases, refactoring, and performance optimization.</li><li>Ability to write clear developer documentation.</li><li>Familiarity with Firebase services (Crashlytics, analytics, messaging) is a plus.</li><li>Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work independently.</li></ul></div>#J-18808-Ljbffr
