It is an exciting time to work in the field of AI to create a long‑lasting impact.What You’ll DoOwn the health and architecture of the assigned software systemsTake part in the design, development and testing of new products while maintaining the existingCoach, mentor and support other engineers in: Supporting the culture of technical excellence and zero technical debtEstablishing code guidelines and reviewing PRs.Adopting unit testing and integration testing in the system.Software architectureSoftware performanceEnsure the quality of code and design against the industry’s best practices and highest standardsDevelop and oversee the implementation of non‑functional requirements such maintainability, scalability and fault toleranceDesign and implement solutions to protect against common security vulnerabilitiesQualificationsBS/MS from a prestigious university in Computer Science or any related field.10 years of software engineering experience, preferably in SaaS or large scale distributed applications.Solid communication skills and the ability to convey technical solutions to the end‑user and the engineering team.Ability to briefly explain sophisticated issues in systems and processes.Solid experience of multiple programming languages with a demonstrated drive to learn and progress in the technical skill and nuanced art of development.Proficient understanding of system design and distributed computing principles.Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, such as HBase, Cassandra, MongoDB.Solid understand of the Scrum agile framework and other software development processes.BenefitsYou will be at the forefront of an exciting time for the Middle East, joining a high‑growth rocket‑ship in an exciting space.You will be given a lot of responsibility and trust.
