Our Pressure Management (PRM) portfolio includes Natural gas skids pressure / safety relief valves and Pressure Regulators to offer our clients solutions whatever their needs.The Project Manager role forms part of our Project Management Office (PMO) organization and is the primary customer focal point for skid project orders. The Project Manager has the overall responsibility and authority for the implementation and execution of Customer projects. He / She is responsible for the entire process from Bid /Quote clarification phase until cash collection. This includes having a complete understanding of the project scope and requirements while also having ownership for timely delivery and profitability.In This Role Your Responsibilities Will Be:Planning and ExecutionDevelop and own the Project Plan that includes schedules landmarks engineering strategy procurement strategy execution strategy financial targets resources communications and considerations of risks.Coordinate with vendors/factories through effective planning scheduling and managementManaging critical path and manage execution riskCoordinate cross-functional project teamsResponsible for the EDDI to ensure realistic lead times and standard document tiers are quotedLead FAT for the skidsWork to finalize completion of the project including the MRO handoff documentation lessons learned and project closeoutRelationship ManagementRequirements internally and externally giving clear direction and requirements.Lead internal and external communication for natural gas skid project orders.Lead the customer post award meeting when the order is committed to Emerson. Lead the Internal Kick-Off meeting to resolve all open issues and provide clarity on the execution plan.Coordinate Pre-Inspection meetings with the Customers Inspector and achieve clarity to the inspection requirements and process.Liaise with IPM to coordinate the inspections at factory.Liaise with Vendors to co-ordinate engineering manufacturing testing delivery and expedition.Interface and communicate with the customer/sales office to provide updates achievements and progress appropriately.Ensure alignment with the customer on the Commitment Date and the Customer PO Dates including milestone dates for drawing and procedure submittals drawing and procedures approvals equipment inspection notifications and Ready for Inspection dates.Participate in joint project review/discussion with the pursuit teamContract ManagementUnderstand Terms and Conditions of contractMinimize exposure to penalties familiarity with contract law and regulationsWork to ensure costs are managed and wherever possible that still allows the project to meet customer requirements action should be taken to avoid costsNegotiate/influence internally or externally for the initial scope of the project change order progress payments terms and condition and all additions or expectations to the projectManage the requirements such as bank guarantees letter of credit & clean document submissions to bank with the help of respective partnersFinancial PerformanceResponsible for the financial performance of the projectEffectively manage change orders for an improved financial performance of the project; manage margin uplift for project.Manage financial targets and metrics for the project with the help of the Project Financial AnalystDocumentationSupport document controllers (DC) for timely submission of DocumentsEnsures on time approval of documents for manufacturing inspection and shipping.Review customer comments and work with stakeholders for resubmissionWho You AreSelf-starting and committedAbility to comprehend technical details/technical literacyAbility to remain calm under pressure acknowledge mistakes and possess emotional intelligence/diplomacyYou are highly motivated to drive business growthFor This Role You Will Need:Bachelors Engineering degree from an accredited universityOverall 5 years of relevant experience in Project Management and/or Application Engineering on skid packages / equipment for Oil & gas industryEffective communication negotiation and influencing skillsExperience in successful management of multisite multi-country projectsPreferred Qualifications That Set You ApartPMP Certification or other equivalent project management certification preferred.Our Culture & Commitment to You!At Emerson we prioritize a workplace where every employee is valued respected and empowered to grow.
