Job OverviewThe Quality Operations Technician provides solutions to problems in the operations discipline without supervisory approval and will evaluate and select solutions from established operating procedures and scientific procedures.Job DescriptionThe Quality Operations Technician will coordinate Source Inspection activities with two Source Inspection Coordinators assigned to this role. This position operates without supervisory approval and utilizes established operating procedures and scientific techniques to implement effective solutions.ResponsibilitiesAct as a focal point for relevant craft supervisors to access current information related to standards and codes, technical publications, inspection tools, and measuring instruments.Ensure all inspection forms are in a standard format and completed monthly.Maintain quality records and related codes/standards.Serve as the liaison between the facility/vessel and the Administrative Office regarding the status of Corrective Action Register issues.Assist in establishing a process to measure non-conformances, such as production delays, unscheduled helicopter flights, and redundant vessel movements.Assist as directed with ISO:9001, ISO:14001, ISM, and ISPS code audit preparation and CAR closures.Act as a focal point to help expedite facility issues relevant to quality.Assist with facility/vessel Key Performance Indicator measurements.Maintain registers on ladders, below-hook lift devices, CAR, training, and MSDS.QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent.Strong computer skills.Organized and disciplined individual with well‑developed communication skills.Strong interpersonal skills required to deal effectively with operational management throughout the organization.About UsOur ingenuity fuels daily life.
