Quantity Surveyor

Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor with strong experience in interior fitout projects across F&B outlets, luxury villas and office spaces. The ideal candidate will have proven expertise in cost management, procurement, material knowledge and the ability to provide accurate quantity take-offs and project cost controls.Job ResponsibilitiesPrepare detailed cost estimates, BOQs and budgets for interior fitout projects.Conduct quantity take-offs from drawings, material specifications and design documents.Monitor project costs and prepare cost variance reports.Manage procurement activities including material sourcing, comparison sheets, supplier negotiations and purchase recommendations.Evaluate vendor quotations to ensure compliance with project specifications and budget.Maintain updated databases of suppliers, subcontractors and material rates.Prepare and review contracts, subcontracts and commercial agreements.Manage variations, change orders and claims in coordination with the project team.Support in tendering processes, pricing and bid evaluations.Track material consumption, site progress and financial status.Prepare periodic cost reports for management and clients.Support project managers with forecasts, cashflow projections and commercial insights.Strong understanding of interior fitout materials such as finishes, joinery, MEP interfaces and specialty items.Ensure materials meet required standards and project quality specifications.Coordinate with designers, engineers and site teams for technical clarifications.Key Qualifications & ExperienceBachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering or related field.Minimum 4–7 years experience as a QS within the interior fitout industry in the UAE.Hands‑on experience in F&B, villa and office interior projects is essential.Strong knowledge of cost control, procurement and material management.Excellent understanding of drawings, specifications and technical details.Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel and QS software tools.Strong negotiation, analytical and communication skills.Immediate availability is mandatory.#J-18808-Ljbffr
