Job Description
This role handles all customer inquiries related to room reservations with a strong focus on revenue maximization quality service and brand standards. The Reservations Agent is responsible for converting inquiries into confirmed bookings while delivering an exceptional guest experience and supporting the hotels revenue management strategy.Reporting to the Reservations Manager responsibilities and essential job functions include:Understand and apply the key principles of ACCORs Pricing Strategies and Revenue Management including:Retail Corporate Leisure Group and Other segmentsRate restrictions hurdles and availability controlsMaximize room revenue by converting telephone inquiries into confirmed reservationsApply effective upselling and cross-selling techniquesTake reservations in line with revenue management strategiesDemonstrate full knowledge of all hotel products services and facilitiesHandle reservations inquiries via telephone email and fax professionally and efficientlyBe fully conversant with all market segments and rate plans across all distribution channelsAdapt sales techniques to offer the right product to the right customer at the right timeHandle guest queries and complaints related to room reservations with professionalism and careIdentify and communicate sales opportunities related to:Individual guestsCorporate accountsWholesalers and Travel Management CompaniesCo-host dinners and special events with the Sales team and participate in client entertainment when requiredli>Ensure full compliance with ACCORs Core Reservation StandardsAchieve targeted scores in LQA Hotel Mystery Shopping callsMaintain accuracy and integrity of the PMS databaseEnsure correct market segmentation for each reservationCreate and maintain hierarchies and relationships between Corporate AccountsEnsure all reservations meet property standards in terms of data accuracy and guest satisfactionDemonstrate complete understanding and effective use of RM tools including Opera PMS/S&CParticipate in PMS conversions as requiredDemonstrate full and effective use of the hotel telephone systemli>Maintain all reservation correspondence accurately and timelySupport the Reservations Manager and Revenue Management team with special projects as requiredPERSONAL ATTRIBUTESAbility to adapt to a fast-paced and changing environmentStrong attention to detailAbility to handle multiple tasks simultaneouslyStrong organizational and workflow management skillsGuest-service oriented with a professional and positive attitudeStrong communication and interpersonal skillsQualificationsFluency in English and Russian written and spokenDegree or Diploma in Hotel Management Training & Development or related fieldWorking knowledge of Opera PMS and Microsoft OfficeAdditional languages are an assetMinimum 2 years experience in a hotel or resort as a Reservations Agent - Luxury hotel or resort background preferredGood understanding of local culture with previous regional experience preferredRemote WorkNoEmployment TypeFull-time#J-18808-Ljbffr
