Choose how often (in days) you want to receive a notification:Closing date:Number of positions: 1Recruiter name:Ruba HijahReference number: 68162Mediclinic City Hospital| Dubai | United Arab EmiratesMAIN PURPOSE OF JOBTo perform pulmonary function testing, under supervision of a licensed physician, for the diagnosis and treatment of lung capacity and to performrespiratory therapy to treat related respiratory diseasesKEY RESPONSIBILITY AREASPerform all pulmonary function procedures and sleep medicine techniques and studies according to standard procedure, patient safety standards and regulatory requirementsConduct pulmonary function tests e.g. spirometry with reversibility studies, lung volume and gas transfer studiesConduct Polysomnography test according to standard practiceEvaluate data, results and clinical documentation for quality and accuracyREQUIRED EDUCATIONA Bachelor's degree in respiratory therapy from an accredited educational institutionA current license and registration or certification to practice as a Pulmonary Function Technologist from country of origin and/or educationCurrent registration with NBRC or CSRT as a registered Respiratory TherapistCurrent valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certificationREQUIRED EXPERIENCEAt least 2 years postgraduate experience working as a Pulmonary Function TechnologistREQUIRED JOB SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGEPatient safety and experience principlesComputer literacy and proficiency in MS Office applicationsUAE healthcare regulatory framework and related requirementsVerbal and written communication skills in EnglishAll applicants will be considered, with the understanding that preference will be given to the designated groups in accordance with the United Arab Emirates Emiratization Program.
