Duties & ResponsibilitiesJob SummaryThe Senior Accountant is responsible for overseeing financial operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with local regulations, and supporting management with timely financial insights. The role requires strong accounting expertise, leadership capability, and experience within a structured corporate or group environment.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare, review, and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statementsEnsure compliance with IFRS and applicable Qatar financial and tax regulationsManage general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and fixed assetsOversee month-end and year-end closing processesCoordinate with external auditors and support audit activitiesMonitor budgets, forecasts, and cash flow managementReview reconciliations (bank, intercompany, balance sheet accounts)Support financial planning, cost control, and management reportingSupervise junior accounting staff and ensure adherence to internal controlsAssist in improving accounting systems, policies, and proceduresQualifications & ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fieldProfessional certification (CPA, ACCA, CMA, or equivalent) preferredMinimum 5–8 years of accounting experience, preferably in Qatar or GCCStrong knowledge of IFRS and local regulatory requirementsExperience with ERP/accounting systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics)Advanced proficiency in MS Excel#J-18808-Ljbffr
