Senior Crowd Transport Modeller

We are seeking a Senior Crowd Transport Modeller to join our innovative team in Dubai United Arab this pivotal role you will lead the development and implementation of advanced crowd simulation models for large-scale transportation projects in one of the worlds most dynamic urban environments.Develop and maintain complex crowd simulation models for various transportation scenariosAnalyze and interpret large datasets to inform transportation planning decisionsLead project teams in the design and execution of crowd management strategiesCollaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate crowd modeling into broader transportation plansPresent findings and recommendations to stakeholders and senior managementStay current with emerging trends and technologies in crowd simulation and transportation modelingMentor junior team members and contribute to the development of best practicesEnsure all models and analyses comply with local and international standards and regulationsQualificationsMasters degree in Transportation Engineering Urban Planning or a related field7-10 years of experience in transportation planning and modeling with a focus on crowd simulationAdvanced knowledge of crowd simulation software and transportation modeling toolsStrong proficiency in GIS software and data analysis techniquesExcellent project management skills with the ability to lead complex multi-stakeholder projectsIn-depth understanding of crowd behavior dynamics and urban transportation systemsExperience with large-scale crowd management projects preferably in urban environmentsProfessional Transportation Planner (PTP) certification or equivalent is preferredStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detailExcellent communication skills both written and verbal with the ability to present complex information clearlyInnovative mindset with a track record of developing creative solutions to transportation challengesFamiliarity with local transportation regulations and standards in the UAE is a plusAdditional InformationAbout AECOMAECOM is proud to offer comprehensive benefits to meet the diverse needs of our employees.
