Warehouse Assistant (UAE National)

Under supervision of the Maintenance Manager, the Storekeeper is responsible for the organization and maintenance of the Warehouse by purchasing, receiving, and storing spare and wear parts, tools and consumables. The use of the CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) is a key function in daily work.ResponsibilitiesTakes an active role in working with the operations and maintenance personnel in prioritizing work to be done and in coordinating activities with maintenance.Review timeliness of scheduled deliveries.Tracks inventory levels.Order new supplies in a timely manner.Ensure that the facility equipment is properly maintained, especially tools.Sets up and pre-stages parts from the warehouse and helps in finding and retrieving parts from the warehouse to expedite work.Maintains CMMS records and prepares the request of purchasing for spare and wear parts.Annual inventory of all parts, consumables and tools.The above job duties and responsibilities are intended to describe the general nature of the work and are not intended to be an inclusive list of all responsibilities.
