Hotel Maintenance Engineer

Overview Hotel Maintenance Engineer vacancy in Al-Rayyan QatarOur luxury hotel in Al-Rayyan is seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Engineer to join our team. As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning of all equipment and facilities within the hotel, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and other systems. Your main goal will be to maintain a safe and comfortable environment for guests and staff. Responsibilities Conduct routine inspections of hotel facilities and equipment to identify any potential issuesPerform preventative maintenance tasks on a regular basisRespond to guest requests for maintenance or repairs in a timely mannerTroubleshoot and repair any malfunctions or breakdowns in equipmentKeep accurate records of all maintenance work performedCoordinate with external contractors when necessaryMonitor energy usage and implement energy-saving measuresEnsure compliance with all safety regulations and protocols Requirements Proven experience as a Maintenance Engineer or similar role in a hotel settingStrong knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and other relevant systemsAbility to read blueprints and technical diagramsExcellent problem-solving skills with attention to detailGood time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectivelyExcellent communication skills and customer service orientationMust be physically fit and able to lift heavy objects as needed Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field preferred but not requiredMinimum of 3 years of experience in a similar roleExperience working in a luxury hotel is highly desirableKnowledge of relevant safety codes and regulationsAbility to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidaysSalary: 1200$ per month (negotiable based on experience)Nationality preference: Indian but all qualified candidates are welcome to applyLocation: Al-Rayyan, Qatar
