Purchaser - Agriculture and Industrial sector

DescriptionOur client is looking for a highly skilled and proactive Purchaser with a minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement specifically within the agricultural and industrial sectors.The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing and purchasing a wide range of items including spare parts, agricultural equipment, agrochemicals and seeds ensuring quality, cost-effectiveness and timely delivery.ResponsibilitiesIdentify, evaluate and select reliable suppliers for spare parts (pumps, construction materials, etc.) and agricultural equipment.Manage procurement of fertilizers, pesticides, herbicides and related agricultural inputs.Source and purchase certified seeds such as maize, soybeans, sunflower and others based on seasonal requirements.Negotiate pricing terms and delivery schedules with vendors to ensure best value.Monitor inventory levels and forecast future needs to avoid shortages or overstocking.Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing and supplier performance.Collaborate with internal departments to align procurement with operational needs.RequirementsMinimum 5 years of hands-on experience in purchasing, preferably in agriculture or a related industry.Strong knowledge of agricultural products, machinery and agrochemicals.Excellent negotiation, communication and organizational skills.Proficient in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.Knowledge in SAPBenefitsSalary: AED 6000 to 8000 yearly; ticket plus all benefits as per UAE labour laws#J-18808-Ljbffr
